DraftX

Exclusive to VeloteX the lightweight 100gm/m2, ultra-technical, purpose-made for performance sports apparel applications, microfiber Polyester/Elasthane fabric, which is, by way of its extremely closely knitted, high density construction, wind resistant and water resistant.

DraftX is constructed in a manner which affords both vertical and lateral mechanical stretch in the garment where these properties are required, thus achieving optimal fit and function.

DraftX being lightweight and almost completely non-absorbent, is suitable for wear from warm to dry, through cold and wet conditions and is superbly wearer-friendly, even when worn directly on the skin, ensuring maximal performance and comfort.

HydroX

Is a Velotex exclusive the 150gm/m2, technical, woven, coated Nylon (Polyamide) fabric is windproof and waterproof.

KlimaX

Klimax is exclusive to VeloteX, the 150gm/m2, ultra-technical, purpose-made for performance sports apparel applications, double laminated microfiber Polyester fabric, which is windproof, waterproof and breathable.

Polyester/Elasthane

Is a 250gm/m2, ultra-technical, purpose-made for performance sports apparel applications, matt Polyester/Elasthane fabric, which is, by way of its closely knitted, high density flat filament construction, aerodynamically efficient, whilst affording a frontal area reducing, sturdy fit, for gusset placement for example.

Polyester/Elasthane is knitted in such a manner to afford both vertical and lateral stretch in the garment, where these properties are required, thus achieving optimal fit and function.

Polyester/Elasthane is suitable for wear in most weather conditions and is superbly wearer-friendly, even when worn directly on the skin therefore ensuring maximal performance and comfort.

PolyVent

Is proudly exclusive to VeloteX, 200gm/m2, ultra-technical, purpose-made for performance sports apparel applications, microfiber Polyester/Elasthane fabric, which is, by way of its golf ball-like, dimpled, perforated construction, aerodynamically superior, from both: a stability and efficiency perspective, as each dimple is in turn loaded with a set of fins, which increases air flow into the wearer's body, promoting wearer coolness, whilst simultaneously reducing competitor slipstream benefits.

PolyVent is knitted in such a manner to afford both vertical and lateral stretch in the garment, where these properties are required, therefore achieving optimal fit and function.

Elastomeric fabrics: “Elasthane” Stretch Ratios vs Fit Delivery

The fabric yarn composition, knit construction and finishing process in the manufacture of elastomeric fabrics all determine the properties and delivery of the fabric.

Yarn Composition is always declared in diminishing order, to either depict the actual composition ratio, i.e. 80% Cotton 20% Polyester, or at worst, simply the dominant ingredient input first, followed by any recessive inputs, in order of composition, ratio.

The greater the elastomeric yarn composition, the greater the stretch and recovery ratio will be.

Some yarn compositions and fabrics may deliver softer, stretchier results, others the opposite, with slight differences in fit delivery being evident to the wearer, which could result in the enforced up-sizing or downsizing of size preference in extreme and borderline instances.
