The “bust” measurement is taken at the widest part of the bust with arms relaxed at the sides. For men, the “chest” measurement is taken just below the armpits with arms relaxed. The “hips” measurement refers to the widest part of the hips or bottom and does not represent the waist measurement. Similarly, the “belt” measurement reflects the widest aspect of the hips and serves as a hypothetical "belt measurement," not a waist measurement. Jockey measurements must always be done while wearing a chest protector to ensure accuracy.
